Before the lockdown period our society namely OASIS FOUNDATION delivered:
- More than 5000 lunch pack had been distributed every year (phase wise) towards backward class in tribal villages of Birbhum.
- More than 2000 saplings plantation program (phase wise) executed every year by Oasis Foundation.
- More than 6000 books and study materials distributed every year (phase wise) towards backward class in tribal villages of Birbhum.
- Every year more than 5000 people of backward class in tribal villages of Birbhum has been benefitted by our health camp.
- More than 2000 blankets distributed (every year) phase wise towards backward class in tribal villages of Birbhum.
- During the lockdown period our society namely OASIS FOUNDATION delivered:
- 2500 lunch pack everyday for continuous 90days, i.e., 2,25,000 nos. of lunch pack towards the daily wagers, pavement dwellers and urban poors.
- During post Amphan period we delivered Kichuri to 500pax everyday for continuous 17days. i.e., altogether we feed 8500 people in Amphan affected region.
- Oasis Foundation did extensive relief work in Sunderban area after Amphan, we donated more than 350 tarpolins, 10ton rice, 2.5ton dal, 2200no. of soaps, 1000buckets, 1000 mugs, 5000 candles, 1000 matchboxes, Sanitary Napkins, 5000pkt biscuits, 5000 pkt ORS, 5000 paracetamol tabs, 3ton puffed rice, 3 ton chira, 5000 bottles of package drinking water.
- Beside the Sunderban area previously we distributed 5355 numbers of relief kits during lockdown phase. These kit distributed in rural south 24pgs, Howrah – rural, Hooghly and Kolkata. Our standard kit consisted of 5Kg Rice, 1.5Kg Dal, 500gm Soya Chunk, 6pcs Eggs, 2Kgs Potatoes, 1Kg Onions, 1 Soap, 500ml oil, 5pieces of 3layers cloth masks, etc.
- 350 tribals from Jhorkhali and 500 tribals from chotomollakhali has requested us to deliver some relief kit in their locality, we deliver it on time.
Oasis Foundation Delivered
After the lockdown period our society namely
- More than 500 blankets and warm clothes had been distributed towards the backward class in the tribal villages of Sunderban.
- We are developing self help communities in remote villages of different districts by giving them training on manufacturing of incense sticks and LED bulbs and tube lights. We provide the raw materials of these products and we purchase the finished products from them to strengthen them economically.
- We delivered 200 nos. Janta Meal (lunch) in the name of “Food For All” every day for 2months as a pilot run infront of government hospitals for poor people of the society. The food consists either Rice, Dal and Sabji or Kichri @ Rs6/-. We got tremendous success in the pilot run of this project, now, we are accruing fund to run this project permanently.
- Last but not the least; we are focusing in cultural exchange program as well as promotional work on Indian art and culture as per our previous agendas just after the normalization of this pandemic situation.
