Oasis Foundation relief work during COVID-19 pandemic
With the continuous effort to bring Indian Art and Culture towards the global platform, Oasis Foundation hasn’t stopped their activities to look after the poorest poor people during this crisis period.
Oasis Foundation is continuously doing the relief work during this lockdown period of due to COVID-19 pandemic. This society has extended their harms towards the poorest poor people in the country. Though the secretary of the society Shri, Arindam Bose, himself, couldn’t able to reach his home at Kolkata due to the lockdown since last week of March2020, but, he is constantly doing his work for the benefit of the poor remotely.
Some activities during last two weeks:
- We deliver Chawaal, daal, Potatoes, onion, Oil and Soyabeans towards 30 families around Briji area. On April 16th,2020
- On 21st April, 2020, we were able to reach towards the deep interior of Rajpur, Sonarpur and cater more than 300 poor and needy villagers on behalf of Oasis Foundation.
- On 24th April,2020 we delivered cooked food and ration towards 500 tribal families (nearly 4000 people) in Boner Pukur Danga, Bolpur. Logistics organised by Vidyasagar Social Welfare - Birbhum.
- On 25th April, 2020 Oasis Foundation distributed total 375 numbers of kit towards the poor people of West Bengal and NOIDA.
We have started distributing at NOIDA, UP. Initially we have distributed 75 kits today and gradually we would increase it in near future. On the other hand today we have distributed 300kits to Boral Notunhat locality of West Bengal.
Moreover, Oasis Foundation prepared WHO recommended re-usable mask for free distributions amongst poorest poor peoples.
It is our earnest request to all capable person/organizations to raise fund for this noble cause.
